John Barnes is a retired federal employee who lives near Washington, DC. He has many hobbies and interests. This photo gallery is John's way of sharing events from his life with friends and family. It is also used when John needs to collaborate with others on photographic projects,

The likelihood that anyone will be harassed as a result of appearing on these pages is small. I regard this site as a "personal portfolio" and I will, from time to time, refer outsiders to it. Please let me know if you object to letting outsiders see you in the context of these pages. Most postings will appear only for a limited time and it is highly unlikely that Googling will yield any "hits" to personal images (this is security by obscurity).I welcome suggestions for improving any of the images shown here. It must be understood that these are not finished Art Photographs, but they are works in progress.
